I have been invited to stage the first exhibition at this wonderful new venue. Dutch house opened on May 1st 2010 and is an amazing new North Yorkshire attraction, located just outside the beautiful hill top village of Crayke. More details to follow shortly.
EXHIBITION WORKSHOP - Sunday 12th September.
I will be running a special exhibition Digital Photography Workshop for beginners.
We will spend the afternoon at Dutch house and then drive up to Sutton Bank to photograph the fabulous views and hopefully a nice sunset.
The workshop is limited to 6 photographers and includes tea/coffee on arrival at 1.00pm, afternoon tea/light meal at 5.00pm, and 10 of John's blank greeting card range.
The cost is £95 per person, and does not include personal or equipment insurance.

This cover image is a view across a barley field late in the afternoon, on the delightful footpath between Askham Bryan and Askham Richard just a couple of miles west from York.
This is an image of the fabulous Couldron Force at West Burton village in Wensledale. In this issue I have also contributed a five page feature on gardening photography, and in particular macro/close-up photography.
This image was taken on film some time ago using my Mamiya RZ 6cm x 7cm medium format camera at Keswick.
This image of the bluebells at Thorpe Perrow Arboretum near Bedale was taken last spring 2009.
This image of Sutton Bank and The vale of York was taken last May 2009 when I was lucky enough to chance by as several paragliders were taking off.
In this issue I have put together a five page illustrated feature titled "A view for all seasons" which focusses on the fabulous all year round views from Sutton Bank on The North York Moors.
This image of Burnsall is being used by Yorkshire Life magazine for their March issue.
In this issue I have put together a six page illustrated article featuring landscape images from within the county, all taken in springtime. This image is of All Saints church, Hovingham. I stop off in Hovingham quite regularly and find the pasties very hard to resist from the bakery by the village ford!
